Hand-Painted Fireplace Screens

Color, applied by hand, carries a different kind of presence—softer than raw metal, yet deeply dimensional. Each of our hand-painted fireplace screens is finished in layers, allowing tone, texture, and subtle variation to emerge over time. From matte black painted finishes to softer, nuanced tones, these pieces offer a more restrained expression of our work—where form and finish move together.

Every screen is hand-finished in our Texas studio, with slight variations that make each piece its own. Custom sizes and finishes are available, allowing the final piece to sit naturally within the space it’s made for.

Simple, Timeless Design by Claire Crowe

A hand-painted fireplace screen carries a different kind of presence — softer than raw metal, more dimensional than a single coat of paint. Each piece is finished in layers, brushed and built up by hand, so tone and texture shift slightly as the light moves. It works as a decorative fireplace screen and a quieter focal point for rooms that don't need a louder gesture.

Tailored for Your Space

Every painted fireplace screen is made to order and available in custom sizes, forged and finished to the dimensions you send us. For a custom painted fireplace screen on a specific project, we work directly with designers from spec through delivery — finish, scale, palette, all tailored to the room.

Touched by Texas Hands

Every screen is forged, hand-painted, and assembled in our Dallas studio — solid bar construction, layered hand-applied finish, the maker's mark visible if you look for it. Slight variations between pieces are part of the work, not a flaw in it. That's the difference between a fixture and a luxury fireplace screen made one at a time.

NEED A CUSTOM SIZE?

Most fireplaces aren't standard, and our screens shouldn't be either. Send us the opening's height and width, a photo of the firebox, and the finish you're after, and we'll come back with a quote within a few days. From there, expect 12 to 14 weeks while your screen is forged, finished, and hand-checked in our Texas studio.
