At the 2025 Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas, CCC lighting and a forged-metal fire screen appeared in two rooms with very different material palettes. The installations showed how scale, finish, and shadow change when a piece is specified for a particular interior.
Butterfly Dish Lights and the Sakura Lantern
In Lori Paranjape's hallway, three Butterfly Dish Lights were installed against malachite-colored walls. Their hand-formed butterflies interrupted the light at the ceiling and cast changing shadows across the saturated surface.

The Sakura Lantern hung above the game table. Its brass botanical framework added a warmer metal note while holding its own against the room's color and pattern.

The Sunburst Fire Screen
Mohoń Interiors specified the Sunburst Fire Screen for the Evening Lounge. The forged radiating pattern introduced a clear geometry at the hearth and connected to the room's mixed-metal details.

The screen's role was architectural as well as functional. Its frame established an edge around the firebox while the open metal pattern allowed the darker opening to remain visible behind it.

Made for the Room
Each piece began as a studio drawing and was formed and finished by our skilled Texas artisans. Seeing the work within these rooms made the specification decisions visible: the spacing of the dish lights, the lantern's scale over the table, and the relationship between the fire screen and the surrounding materials.
